We will keep you up to date with information about and pictures of your puppy as it grows, up until it is time for your puppy to go home.
This contract is being written for the protection of both the breeder and the buyer. Most importantly, it is to protect the health and general well being of the puppy.
Please read the entire Purchase Agreement/Health Guarantee prior to putting a deposit on a puppy. By putting a deposit on a puppy and signing this contract agreement, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions within this contract. If you have any questions or require certain adjustments to the contract, please call me to discuss it.
We require a $300 deposit in order to hold the puppy that you choose. The deposit can be made in cash, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, ApplePay, PayPal, or a credit card. If time allows, you can also mail a check to me for the deposit.
The puppy is being sold as a PET only. Seller makes no guarantees regarding the puppy's fertility or ability to place in shows. The puppy is strictly being sold as a TOP QUALITY PET AND COMPANION DOG.
Puppies will be picked up between 8-9 weeks old. If your puppy needs to stay longer than one week after his/her health certificate is obtained, a $5 per day lodging fee will apply. It is in the best interests of the puppy to go home as soon as possible. They learn so much so fast and need to be placed on your schedule, with you routines, as soon as possible.
The deposit is refundable until the puppy is 7 weeks old. After the puppy turns 7 weeks old, the deposit is non-refundable. This is to cover the costs of re-advertising the puppy and keeping him/her current on vaccinations and worming until a new home is found. It is not fair to keep him/her from going home as soon as he/she is available. If you do need to cancel the contract, please do so as soon as possible.
The balance due at pickup in cash.
When necessary, we do accept Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, ApplePay, PayPal and Credit Cards. Cash is the preferred method of payment though.
The puppies will not go home until 8 weeks old and received a Florida Health Certificate and age appropriate immunizations by a licensed Veterinarian.
The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.
The puppy will be up to date on immunizations and worming at the time of pickup. This includes heartworm prevention. It is very important that you continue the vaccination series. Please do not expose your puppy to other dogs that you are not 100% sure are current on their vaccinations or to areas that un-vaccinated dogs have access to. By signing this contract and purchasing a puppy, you are agreeing to obtain all recommended vaccinations and providing heartworm protection.
The buyer, at their own expense, will have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours (3 days) of receiving the puppy. This is to establish a relationship with your veterinarian and to also assure that nothing was missed at the initial health certificate exam. If within 72 hours, a licensed veterinarian finds the puppy to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the puppy may be returned for a full refund - provided that the puppy has not been injured or neglected in any way. The veterinarian must provide a written statement deeming the puppy “unhealthy for purchase” including an explanation of his/her findings. Hollyzdoodles reserves the right to have the dog re-examined by our veterinarian at our cost.
This guarantee does not cover any health issues caused by neglect or abuse by the buyer.
This guarantee does not include minor illnesses or health issues such as colds, allergies, internal or external parasites or umbilical hernias. The breeder has made every effort to prevent parasites and will cover the cost of medication if internal or external parasites are found to be present at the 72 hour check-up. The breeder will disclose any known illnesses or health issues prior to pickup and as soon as the breeder is aware that a condition exists. At that time, seller and buyer will discuss the condition and buyer has 72 hours to continue with the purchase or cancel the agreement for a full refund of the deposit made. Seller typically reduces the price by $100 for any puppy found to have an umbilical hernia, to cover the possibility of a repair procedure.
The breeder does not guarantee size, color or hair type when grown. We will give you the weight of the parents along with pictures of the parents. The weight of the puppy is available upon request. The seller can give an educated guess on the size the puppy will be when grown, but there are too many variables (genetics, food provided, exercise time, etc) to give accurate weights. Hair types will vary in the same litter, some will be straighter and some curlier. As the puppy gets older and gets his/her adult hair, it will also change. It will change after the first haircut and look different depending upon the style given by the groomer. The hair color can lighten and darken as the puppy matures. There are too many variables in both weight and hair color and type to give an accurate description of the puppy's future size or look. Therefore, no guarantees can be made regarding size or hair.
The puppy is sold strictly as a pet or companion.
The breeder gives a one year guarantee against any congenital/genetic defects of the puppy. This guarantee includes, but is not limited to, hip or elbow dysplasia. If something should occur, verified in writing by a licensed veterinarian, the puppy can be returned to the breeder and the buyer can receive another puppy of their choice, that is the same value, when one is available. The purchaser may elect to retain ownership of the puppy. This is on a case by case basis and will be discussed between the purchaser and breeder at that time.
If for any reason the purchaser is unable to keep the puppy, the purchaser agrees to return the puppy to Hollyzdoodles and will not place the puppy in a shelter. If the puppy is returned within the first 30 days, half (50%) of the purchase price will be refunded AFTER the puppy has been placed in his/her new home. The other half will cover expenses related to quarantine, re-advertising to look for a new home, worming and immunizations, and a new health certificate from the veterinarian to place the puppy in a new home. Puppies returned to Hollyzdoodles must be quarantined for 2 weeks (14 days) to prevent the possible contamination/infection of younger puppies and moms that reside here. Therefore, the refunded amount would not be provided for at least 2 weeks. If a puppy is returned after 30 days, no refund will be given.
The puppy will be micro-chipped prior to going home. It is the buyers responsibility to register the microchip, at the buyers expense. The seller has purchased the chip and will give you the information on registering the microchip. Most puppies will come with CKC, Continental Kennel Club, registration. The puppy will be started on heart worm medication prior to going home. It is the sellers responsibility to maintain heartworm prevention medication. Heartworms are very prevalent in the south (transferred by mosquitos) and also very preventable.
Hollyzdoodles is no longer shipping dogs via airlines. Ground transportation can be obtained through commercial carriers at purchasers expense. Hollyzdoodles, or an authorized agent, can meet you at an agreed upon site in some circumstances. Delivery charges are: 50 miles-no charge, after that a fee of 50 cents per mile, round trip, will apply. This fee must be paid prior to the meeting date, via Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, PayPal or Credit Card.
